                          CREATIVITY IN MUSIC

Creativity in music is what I‘m passionate about and it motivates me because of how easily you can be creative with different styles of music. For example, the artist Lorde really defines herself and her personality through music by thinking outside the box. She expresses her views in her music and incorporates different thoughts she has in her mind and portrays it so creatively. Music has no restrictions, no limitations. Through music, you can express anything you want to. Creative artists like her motivate me to be different and think outside of the box. If all types of music sounded the same, how would it be creative and unique? Ben Howard and Gabrielle Aplin are other perfect examples of “outside of the box” artists by the way they play guitar and the lyrics they create in their music. When I listen to the creativity in music, it allows me to think more not only about how they created the music but what message they’re trying to get across. In my opinion, music with creativity and morals is the best music you can discover. With music you can be free! You can express any emotion through music! Feeling happy? Pop music! Feeling sad? Ballads! Feeling angry? Metal Rock! There are even so many genres that are yet to be discovered! Music is like a never-ending chain of thoughts and emotions; it's just something everyone can connect with.
